When i started making vector silhouettes i noticed how many pictures of a subject looked interesting to use but far from practical. When you make a silhouette you have to choose an image that has recognizable form, like the hand and feet distinguishable from the body and other object you are vectoring. Sometime when i have found a model with an awesome pose that has poor form I’ll include some clothing or create some other solution by experimenting with realigning some features.
