We finally installed the floor system, it took about five hours to do roughly 500ft. The kitchen still needs to be done but progress is being made. I was planning to clean the floor and lay the batting for the floor but, my bro and friends gave it all and we got it done, and to top it off we got treated to an awesome meal…WO_oT!

Brantford Arts Block Grand Opening featuring skateboards from local artists sponsored by Indecks Skate shop
They had a large turnout , the big wigs of the county came to support the block as well as the artists they exhibited. We had an opportunity to enter the exhibition and include a board designed by me, and we also added a few pictures. The boards are up for silent auction if anyone is interested in purchasing a piece of art.

Since I’m pretty far behind on my tutorials, I thought id post an easy one to get the juices flowing. This as is a very quick and simple tutorial using layer select option.I will be working on a collection of these borders and well as a few other resources for photographers and designers. I have been working on putting my songs that i made on a CD, I started making music in 2003 and before long i had a nice collection of songs that are pretty unusual from anything I’ve heard but i love it and get put in a trance every time i listen,. Could be just because i made it…lol

Well since i am starting up the studio and trying to move to be closer to the studio, we need a fundraiser for the next big steps ahead, I will be selling the CD’s for 20 bucks min but you can give more…lol, The cd has 10 songs all by me, using only a keyboard and some cool sound “stuff”.

Grunge is not only a big style for websites, simple graphics, and signatures, but lots of other designers use it in works like posters for concerts, cd covers, music videos, etc. In this tutorial, I will show you some simple ways to turn a picture into a grunge themed poster. There are not too many photoshop poster tutorials out there, so I intend to make this one something helpful for you!

We Have a new Online Shop,(notice the only bold color “shop button”) the official launch will be Jan, 1st 2009 “New Years Day”. Things have slowed down with out tutorials, however with having a studio we should be able to produce a couple tutorials on setting things up like lighting and handling the product, which could be directing a model to physically repositioning an object.

This summer i started skateboarding, I bought a board from our friends at INDECKS (skateboard shop) , We built a mini ramp in our backyard and everyday I skate it with my kids and freinds. Summer is almost over and the ramp maybe coming down soon and stored, I thought id post some of our epic pics we took. Some of the kids and my son (the little guy), I wanted to get the whole group of kids but i’ll try another time!

Last week i got a late night phone call for a spur of the moment shoot, Jeff(owner of indecks) wanted a set for his skateboard shop catalog, It was a good shoot i set up my lights in the store, The guys got dressed in some skate gear and posed up a storm…lol Here are a few shots of the shoot! YaY! we just got a brand new puppy, She is a purebred Australian Shepard. My dad owns the father (Hogan), We have a few names picked out so she should have one pretty soon. First night and so far she has had no accidents, I have a few pics from when we meet check them out!

We have a very nice skateboard courtesy of Indecks Skate Shop(Jeff), He offered us a board for designing his logo probono, Thanks Jeff, INDECKS ROCKS! I have it on my wall, and it looks CRAZAY:)
I took the board down to the local skate plaza and got a product shot and made an ad for them [...]

I have a new huge 3×3 black glass for my product shots, i have been looking for a long time for a good dark glass to use and the whole time i had the perfect piece i used for a table a few years back… and thats why you never throw things away…lol
